A series of publications concerning the issues of social work in Poland
Design of the series of books concerning the specifics of the social worker profession. Our goal was to find a powerful metaphor which could express the tension between the individual and the collective. When looked at from close the covers seem to be just an abstract pattern of dots, but from a distance the patterns transform into the shapes of faces and of human silhouettes. This effect encompasses the challenges that the social worker faces in his/her everyday practice: how to work out effective system solutions while at the same time keeping the perspective of an individual person with his/her distinctive story, needs and conditions.
The project will be soon presented in the publication “Playful Photos” published by SendPoints Publishing House (Shanghai, China).
